Our commitment
Apollon Hospitality Ltd wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have reviewed the site ourselves and fixed what we found, but we have not yet had it audited by an independent accessibility specialist, so we cannot claim full conformance.
What we do
- Pages work on phones, tablets and desktops and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard. Press Tab to move and Enter or Space to activate; a visible gold outline shows where you are. A "Skip to main content" link appears first on each page.
- Forms have a label for every field, mark required fields, tell you in words what went wrong and move your focus to the first problem.
- Pop-up windows trap focus while open, close with Escape, and return you to where you were.
- Images that carry information have text descriptions; decoration is hidden from screen readers.
- Text colours were measured against their backgrounds to meet the AA contrast ratio. Text placed over photographs or gradients (for example in the page headers) is designed for contrast but has not been measured.
- Animations, the page-transition curtain and the custom cursor are switched off if your device asks for reduced motion, and the custom cursor is switched off on touch screens and in high-contrast mode.
Known limitations
- The Apollon Resort and the Jobs map are interactive 3D scenes that cannot be used with a screen reader as a picture. Everything in them can be reached through the search, the department lists and the Jobs list view, which work with a keyboard and screen reader. If you have any difficulty, we will gladly send you profiles or roles directly.
- Some pages (the market pages, the salary guide and the legal pages) are available in English, Greek and German; the salary guide is English only.
- We have not tested with every combination of browser and assistive technology.
