About these terms
These terms apply to your use of apollonhospitality.com, including the Apollon Resort, the Jobs map, job alerts and our forms (together, the "Website"). The Website is run by Apollon Hospitality Ltd, a private company registered in England and Wales (company number 16803835), registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX ("Apollon", "we", "us"). By using the Website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
These terms govern the Website only. Our recruitment services for employers are provided under a separate written agreement or terms of business, which prevail over these terms for those services. Our services are always free of charge for candidates.
What the Website is, and is not
- The Website gives information about Apollon and our services, shows anonymised candidate profiles and job opportunities, and lets you contact us.
- Nothing on the Website is an offer of employment, a guarantee of a job, an interview or a placement, or a promise that a candidate is available or suitable.
- Job listings, salary ranges and the salary guide are for general information and are indicative. Check the details of any offer before you accept it. Nothing here is legal, tax, immigration or financial advice.
- Roles marked "Example" are illustrations and may not be open.
Candidates
Applying through the Website does not create a contract of employment or a duty on us to find you work. You promise that what you tell us is accurate and that you have the right to send us it, including any information in your CV about other people such as referees. We only show an anonymised profile of you if you have agreed to it, and we ask you before we send your full details to an employer. We never charge candidates for finding work. See our Privacy Policy.
Employers
An enquiry or profile request through the Website does not create a contract. Fees, guarantees and other commercial terms apply only once agreed in writing. Anonymised profiles and the information we send you about candidates are confidential, are provided for the purpose of considering candidates through Apollon, and must not be used to identify, contact or hire a candidate other than through us, or be passed on to others.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- copy, scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically extract the profiles, job listings or other content of the Website, or build a database from them, by any automated or manual means;
- try to identify, track or contact a candidate from an anonymised profile, or combine the profiles with other data for that purpose;
- submit false, misleading or unlawful information, or send information about another person without the right to do so;
- pretend to be Apollon, its staff, a candidate or an employer, or use our name, logo or design to suggest a connection with us;
- send spam, malware or anything intended to disrupt the Website, test its security without our written permission, or overload it;
- frame or mirror the Website, or link to it in a misleading way.
We may block access, remove content or report conduct to the authorities if you break these rules.
Fraud warning: how to recognise Apollon
Criminals sometimes copy the names of recruitment agencies to take money or identity documents. To protect you:
- Apollon never charges candidates. We never ask for a fee, a deposit, or payment for a job, a visa, training, a uniform or accommodation, and we never ask for card or bank details when you apply.
- Our website is apollonhospitality.com. Our emails come from addresses ending in @apollonhospitality.com (for example info@ and careers@). Check the full address before you reply or open an attachment. Free webmail addresses (Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo and similar) are not ours.
- We send introductions to employers only after we have spoken to you and asked your permission.
- If you are unsure, or someone claiming to be Apollon asks you for money or sensitive documents, stop, do not pay, and email info@apollonhospitality.com. You can also report fraud to Action Fraud (UK) or your local police.
Apollon is not responsible for websites, accounts or messages that copy our name without our authority.
Intellectual property
The Website, its design, text, images, the Apollon Resort, the Jobs map, the name "Apollon Hospitality" and our logo are owned by or licensed to Apollon and protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. You may view the Website and print or share a page for your own non-commercial use, with credit to us, but you may not otherwise copy, adapt, distribute or exploit it without our written permission. Some components are open-source or openly licensed (for example the typefaces under the SIL Open Font License and the three.js library under the MIT licence) and remain under their own licences.
Content you send us
You keep ownership of what you send us, such as your CV. You give us permission to use it to provide our services and as described in our Privacy Policy, and you promise it is yours to send and does not break anyone's rights.
Availability and changes
We try to keep the Website available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always up to date. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time, and change these terms by publishing a new version here. The version on this page when you use the Website applies.
Links to other sites
The Website links to other sites (for example social media and booking tools). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach, and, if you use the Website for business, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the Website or reliance on its content. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of candidates, employers or other third parties.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or the Website, are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you use the Website as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in the EU, Switzerland or another country that gives you that right, in the courts where you live. If you use the Website for business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, and what is stored on your device in our Cookie Policy.
